Well, I cannot say that this is exactly unexpected, but it is certainly sudden: I am returning to work in Uganda. I am leaving tomorrow to work on a gender-based violence (GBV) program, based in Lira, for Christian Children's Fund. What does this mean? I will be managing the organization's GBV projects in Lira, which are supported by UNICEF under a larger Child Protection program. This includes surverying interventions and working to improve the response to GBV issues. I know this is vague rhetoric to many of you, but I promise to provide a better picture once I am on the ground again.
